Flood's of SW Florida, Inc. offers COVID-19 disinfecting services for all commercial and residential locations. We use a disinfecting solution that is EPA approved, is food contact safe, and safe for humans and pets.
Surface disinfecting alone can leave behind harmful bacteria in the air you breathe and places unreachable by hand allowing harmful bacteria to grow and spread. Flood's uses a special electrostatic fogging machine for both preventative and decontamination services. The EPA registered product that we use is Benefect Decon-30. While most disinfectants require a 10 minute contact time which is difficult to achieve on vertical surfaces and materials, Decon-30 is specially formulated to kill bacteria with only a 30 second contact time!
The Benefect Decon-30 Solution is dispersed thoroughly throughout all areas of each room allowing the mist to attach to viruses and surfaces killing the pathogens in the air. The fogger evenly distributes the solution covering all hard to reach surface areas. In addition, we recommend that high touch points are wiped down by hand on a regular basis. Examples of high-touch points are door knobs, handrails, desks and work surfaces, light switches, countertops, keypads, computer keyboards and mice, telephones, and sinks and faucets. Spray bottles with solution are available for purchase to maintain these high-touch areas.
After the fogging process and wiping down of all high-touch points, you are able to re-enter your home or business with no need to rinse anything off or wipe anything down.
